Godwin Capital Signs Long-Term Lease Agreement With Costa Coffee to Open New High-Traffic Branch in Stoke-on-Trent
Godwin Capital (via Godwin Developments) has signed a long-term lease agreement with the UK’s leading coffee brand, Costa Coffee, to open a new Costa branch in Stoke-on-Trent. This comes after planners and councillors at Stoke-on-Trent City Council gave their support for the project, which will by located off the A50 Baths Road near Phoenix Retail Park (Tesco Extra).
The new high-traffic site will serve local residents and commuters alike, with approximately 60,000 vehicles passing the area daily. Customers will be able to both sit and enjoy their coffee, food and drink in the seating areas, or use the always-convenient drive-thru.
Susan Agnew, acquisition manager from Costa Coffee said: “We are very excited to have secured this prominent site for our newest drive thru store in Stoke-on-Trent, which will grow and complement our existing presence in the city and the wider West Midlands area. It is a superb high-traffic location and we look forward to progressing the scheme with Godwin Developments in the very near future.”
